Hey Guys,
I haven't posted in a while... Again. Before I start, I'm not being paid or haven't been asked to promote this, but the website teenchoice.com/nominate are trying to get teens -like us- to vote for your favourite men and women. You use #(category) and then the link to your nominee`s Twitter name or Instagram name. I'm not sure whether you can vote more then once, but Ive made my vote, you should make yours. Just click the link and get voting.
I'm going to be posting later. I should be revising for the load of tests tomorrow, but this blog important to me.

Lolly`s Apocalypse Survival
This is going to sound kind of weird, but I actually want an apocalypse to happen. I'm going to tell you what I would do in a Zombie Apocalypse and/or How To Survive one. I can only do this thanks to my years of obsession with Zombie films, and games.
In a Zombie Apocalypse, the first place that is going to be looted is shops. Because this is the case, if there is a shop near by, grab your family, loot what you can, and run.
The most important things to get are water, tinned food -it lasts longer-,
You will have to work with people you don't like... unless you kill them. But the more people, the better!
Transport is also important, but don't live in cars. Cars can be broken. As soon as the apocalypse breaks out, fill up on fuel. There is a chance that it can get taken off you though.
Grab a weapon.
As I live in the UK, guns are illegal, but there is a few weapons you could use in an apocalypse that are legal in the UK.
- Crossbows - When its not an apocalypse, crossbows are allowed as long as the heads aren't on the arrows. Crossbows are great for both hunting, and shooting from a distance.
-Guns - Although they're illegal, people have probably managed to sneak some in. If you manage to get your hands on one, use it carefully. There's probably not enough ammo here to use them a lot.
-A melee weapon - It doesn't matter what it is: a bat, katana, it doesn't matter. Just as long as you're protected.
-A secret/Spare weapon- It has to be small and portable, maybe a knife or sharp file.
-Crowbar- A good weapon, and could help you break down doors.
What to wear!
Now I LOVE fashion, but clothing in a zombie apocalypse is not about showing off.
If you are using a melee weapon, you will need goggles; you don't want zombie blood in your eyes.
A warm coat- It will get cold in the winters and in the UK, it gets very cold.
A light waterproof coat- It rains a lot in the UK.
A bum bag- Best to fit energy bars, a Swiss army knife, a small bottle of water, etc.
2 or 3 pairs of pants- You need to stay warm
Wear light clothing. You will need to be fast, and don't forget spare clothing!!
Bug Repellent is important too. You don't know if the infection is transmitted through bugs as well; them biting you could just be as bad as a zombie!
Food
I love food. You love food. We all love food.
I'm a vegetarian, so in a zombie Apocalypse, Ill have to eat animals.
You have to take this seriously, you cant be a picky eater.
-Canned/Tinned food - It lasts a really long time, you`d be surprised what you can get tinned.
-Water - The best thing for hydration.
- Energy Drinks - They will keep you alert and make you energy filled.
-Anything you can grab - Any food, is food. Be careful though... Things go off date easy.
Don't forget to bring a tin opener.
Shelter
Don't live in a shop. Yes, they have a huge majority of food, but they are the places you will get chased out of. The first place you should loot is houses, but stay above ground for a while; maybe in a tree house, until you know its safe to go in. Also, don't loot houses until you know the people in them are either gone, or dead (its okay until they're alive again.)
I think the best shelter would be a bank. Money is rendered useless from then on, so you don't have a likely chance of people robbing the place, and you should be close to a few shops. If someone was to try and rob the place (for some reason) banks have good security and most likely would have high ground. You could also hide in a house for a few days, but you'd have to barricade yourself in very well, without getting injuries or gaps for zombies to crawl in. You couldn't stay in there long anyway, as people would rob the houses and kill whoever is inside. Food wouldn't last forever.
Survival of the fittest (Sad things!) Trigger warning You will have to leave family pets behind, it really hurts me to say it. (I have a dog, lizard and hamster)
They can survive on their own (unless it needs heat or isn't capable) . But, if you are really close to your pet, you can bring them -just as long as your pet is quiet and wont try to hug or eat the zombies- Noise will attract them. Most people probably wont eat/take the dog food, and its easily stored with your food. Its just hydration you have to worry about. Taps and other water sources will probably be cut off, so you will have to share bottled food.
If a family member or good friend is bitten, we cant amputate the limbs. We`d have to get rid of them. If you live with them, they could infect the whole family. Sorry.
Thanks for reading, this took SO LONG to write. Next post - 10 things wrong with horror films!!
